Majestic Pines is a perfectly maintained and themed cabin located in the beautiful and desired Big Trees Village neighborhood in Camp Connell, CA (5 miles from Arnold, CA). It sits at an elevation of 5100 feet, on a flat parcel of lush forestland in the Sierra Nevada mountains, with easy in/out access year round. The area is a "hidden gem"; a year-round recreational wonderland and a short 2.5 hour drive from the San Francisco Bay Area. It is situated mid-way between beautiful Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe. This is not your average cabin/vacation rental; it is our family home, that we share with wonderful guests.
Plan your getaway to Majestic Pines (without the Tahoe traffic and crowds), it’s close to hundreds of acres of national forest and next to Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
In the summer months you’ll be able to choose from several Alpine lakes to enjoy hiking, swimming, kayaking/SUP, fishing and the winter snowy months you’ll be able to access activities at Bear Valley Ski Resort and Bear Adventure (i.e. snow play, tubing, cross country skiing); along with Sno Parks within a 10-15 min. drive from the cabin.
If you just want to settle in at the cabin -- enjoy the great rooms open floorplan, large and fully equipped kitchen that you can share with fellow chefs, beautiful designer finishes of the recent remodel, soaring ceilings, cozy loft and two upper bedrooms (master is on main floor). Outside the huge deck wraps 3 sides, there are tree swings, room to play endless games of co****le and lots of play area for exuberant kids that you can easily watch (or join in!) from the deck. Or maybe you just want to curl up in a chair and read, relax and enjoy the tranquility that surrounds Majestic Pines.
