Nature is truly fantastic!!

Een woeste hemeldraak uit Game of Thrones die zijn vleugels uitslaat. Zo beschrijft de Nasa deze unieke foto van het noorderlicht, die in IJsland werd gemaakt. De vrouw die onderaan op de foto te zien is, is een Australische toeriste die naar buiten rende bij het zien van het 'drakenpoollicht'.

Vanuit San Francisco kan je gemakkelijk Yosemite National Park bereiken, waar je prachtige wandelingen kan maken. Iets verder zuidwaarts kom je terecht in een bos vol reuzen: Sequoia National Park! Vervolg je weg langs het verrassende landschap van Death Valley. Tot slot kan je je vergapen aan de grootsheid van de Grand Canyon. Je kan terugkeren vanuit San Francisco of je route verlengen via Los Angeles en de kustroute van LA tot San Francisco. De route (zonder verlenging langs LA) neemt minimum 10 dagen in beslag.

From San Francisco you can easily reach Yosemite National Park, where you can make spectacular hikes. A bit further south you will marvel at the giants of the forest in Sequoia National Park! Continue your journey through the surprising Death Valley. The vastness of the Grand Canyon will leave you speechless. You can drive back to San Francisco or lengthen your stay via Los Angeles and the coast road from LA to San Francisco. The route (without LA) will take at least 10 days.

Het land van Vuur en Ijs! Een afwisselend landschap vol vulkanische acitiveit met geisers en warmwaterbronnen, watervallen, zwarte stranden en adembenemende rotsformaties. Je kan hier zelfs snorkelen tussen 2 aardplaten en het landschap bewonderen vanop de rug van het Ijslandse paardenras! Liefhebbers van de serie GOT komen ook aan hun trekken ;).

The land of Fire and Ice! A varying landscape full of volcanic activity with geysers and hot water sources, water falls, black beaches and breathtaking rock formations. You can even swim between 2 tectonic plates and admire the landscape from the back of the Icelandic horse! Fans of the serie GOT will also love this island ;).

Een route van 3 weken langsheen Sumatra, Java en Bali. Indonesië is rijk aan ecologische en culturele schatten. Een greep uit de mogelijkheden: olifanten wassen, jungletrekking, dolfijnen en apen (ook orang-oetans!) spotten, een zonsopgang vanop een vulkaan, wandelen langs rijstvelden en waterpaleizen,... Kortom, er is voor elk wat wils!

Here I list some of the possibilities during your trip: washing of elephants, jungle trekking, spotting dolphins and monkeys (including orang-utans!), a sunrise from a volcano, walking along paddy fields and water palaces,.. Deze reis ging via de Great Ocean Road (vanuit Melbourne) naar Kangaroo Island, het ruige binnenland met de befaamde Uluru en de Blue Mountains (omgeving van Sydney) en beslaat dus het zuidoosten van Australië. Onderweg geen gebrek aan kangoeroe's, koala's, walabi's, echidna's, zeehonden,...Een prachtige ervaring!

It encompasses the southeast of Australia. During your stay you will encounter plenty of kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, seals, echidnas,... A wonderful experience!

Gletsjers, vulkanen, gouden stranden, een rijke fauna en flora,...Je vindt het allemaal in Nieuw-Zeeland! Op 1 maand tijd is het net mogelijk om zowel het noorder- als het zuider-eiland te bezoeken. Ik kan ook speciale tips geven aan fans van LOTR (waar ik toe behoor ;)).

Glaciers, volcanoes, golden beaches, a divers fauna and flora,... New Zealand has it all! Count at least one month if you wish to visit both the north and the south island. I can also provide special tips for fans of LOTR (I'm a huge fan myself ;)).
