Another version of the magical Bulgarian folklore costumes and embroideries ❤️❤️❤️
I am Bulgarian born and for me is an honor and great pleasure to present my cake that I have titled, "Bulgarian Embroidery". The inspiration behind the cake became the ancient Bulgarian bridal costumes. It has been a long time since I have been able to make a piece where I can incorporate Bulgarian embroideries. Their beauty and intricacy have been great attraction and big challenge to my creative mind. I love the diversity of details on each of them. The traditional dress of Bulgaria has fabulous features as they are elegantly woven. The having spectacular composition along with the incredible color combinations. Each of them is embellished with bright embroidery done with coins, beads and silk luster. In the past this ancient costumes were entirely home-made prepared with lots of hard work and awesome designs.
"Аз съм родена в България и за мен е чест и удоволствие да представя моята торта - "Българска шевица". Вдъхновението зад тортата ми са старите български сватбени носии. От много време исках да направя торта, в която да мога да се включат български шевици. Тяхната красота и сложност винаги ме е привличла и е била голямо предизвикателство за въображението ми. Обичам многообразието на детайли във всяка една от тях. Традиционната сватбена рокля на България има страхотни характеристики, тъй като те са елегантно тъкани, украсени с невероятни цветови комбинации. Всяка от тях е украсена с ярка бродерия от монети, мъниста и коприна за блясък. В миналото носиите са правени ръчно и приготвени с много труд и страхотни дизайни."
