It took 2 months for 32 modifications to convert the two new Suzuki DR650 as tour motorcycles and integrate them into our equally equipped fleet.
Most modifications were made in our workshop. E.g. The carburetor was adjusted to operate at a higher altitude and can now be cleaned in about
20 minutes.
We took the bikes to a specialized workshop for metal construction, TIG/MIG welding and powder coating.
All is "Made in Bolivia", by ideas from Bolivia Motorcycle Adventures.

In Bolivia you need a permit to refuel.
Due to a motorcycle change shortly before the start of our tour, we had forgotten this for one bike.
However, using a "folkloric" procedure, you can fill a small amount of gasoil into a canister and than pour it into the motorbike.
