I expected beauty, but Moon Valley (Vale da Lua) in Chapada dos Veadeiros took me by surprise. Its smooth, moon-like rock formations and crystal-clear pools felt otherworldly, as if I had stepped onto another planet. The contrast between the gray stones and the lush green Cerrado was mesmerizing. Sunlight danced on the rocks, creating a dreamlike landscape shaped by time and water.
I stood there, wondering—was this still Earth or a portal to the cosmos?

An 11km masterpiece that starts at the Plateau Rosa glacier (3,500m) and winds down to the village. The Matterhorn views are simply magical, and the wide, scenic slopes are perfect for all levels.

2 - Cross the Border into Switzerland
With the right ski pass, you can glide into Zermatt for the day—exploring both sides of the Matterhorn in one unforgettable trip.

Como funciona: Les Trois Vallées é o maior domínio esquiável do mundo. Inclui as estações de Courchevel, Méribel e Val Thorens, além de outras 4 menores. É possível esquiar entre as estações nós adoramos essa experiência. A diversidade de pistas, teleféricos e itinerários é simplesmente impressionante. Para ter uma ideia, há 600km de pistas e 158 teleféricos entre os vales. Isso explica por que saímos com a sensação de ter visto parte do complexo, mesmo esquiando intensamente durante 6 dias!

Melhor época para visitar: Para esquiar entre as estações e aproveitar a maioria das pistas da região, planeje sua visita entre o final de dezembro e março. Para encontrar neve fresca e abundante, dê prioridade ao período de meados de janeiro até o final de fevereiro.

Quantos dias ficar: Recomendo ficar pelo menos 5 dias para conseguir explorar bem os resorts.

Como chegar: Os aeroportos mais próximos são Genebra, Lyon, Chambéry e Grenoble. A partir dessas cidades, você terá várias opções: alugar um carro e dirigir por conta própria até as estações, contratar um serviço de traslado ou pegar um trem até Moutiers e, em seguida, pegar um ônibus ou traslado até o seu destino final.

Nós aterrissamos em Milão, pois essa foi a melhor opção saindo de Estocolmo. Com um carro alugado, chegamos a Méribel em cerca de 4,5 horas. Foi uma viagem longa através do túnel do Mont Blanc. Se puder, recomendo voar Genebra para uma locomoção mais conveniente.
