Two weeks ago showed some tourists from around who came here especially to do a .
Since they also had intended to see the rest of the city I changed the programme of the Rio One Day Tour. I fetched them from the Rodoviário Novo Rio & had a nice, typical Brazilian breakfast eating .

The three of them were captains & a airhostess of the crew. It was a great priviledge for me to show them the & the statue as well as the . The weather turned out to be lovely as you can see on the pictures below the text. Only towards the late afternoon the weather turned out horribly & funny enough they enjoyed their time in the seeing Rio from a even despite the rain. All of them really & truley experienced the by eating local food in a , by visitng the Italian NGO project (http://www.ilsorrisodeimieibimbi.org/) & by taking a look at the pictures in the gallery of .

After visiting the we went to see the , the cathedral of , the teâtro municipal, the national library, the square of .

Our final stop was the or but it unfortunately had got too dark and miserable for it to be worth taking the cable car up to the top.

Yesterday showed some lovely friends of friends form & around the . It was a really enjoyable even despite the rain. They actually said that the cold rain felt like a warm summer rain in Europe. Also the grandfather of one of the girls with 80 years of age joined us. He loves to take pictures as you can see :) It was interesting for me to experience the way he observed the world.

Since they also had intended to see the rest of the city I changed the programme of the Rio One Day Tour. I even booked the bus tickets for them from Sao Paulo Tietê to Rodoviário Novo Rio. It was a sleeping bus as you can see in the video :) We also used the app a lot! So funny hahahahaha

We met in front of the bus terminal & then we went right away to the airport Santos Dumont to fetch the captains of the crew. Yesterday showed Brazilians & US-Americans to the biggest in & hence also ; the .

Some days ago took three tourists from the to the . There were also some Brazilians & British people there that were very convinced about photography skills & hired me to take their pictures as well ;-)

A lovely couple chose to take them to go in the of .

They just got married 20 days ago & decided to spend their in Buenos Aires, Foz do Iguaçu, Búzios & Rio de Janeiro. Even though the guy got an ear infection he was too crazy about being on the water that they didnt want to miss experiencing from a as it truly is: a beautiful place . They loved paddling through the seeing crabs running up their roots & beautiful birds.

As you can see the conditions as well as the area itself are very suitable for people who have never stood on a board before: the water is shallow (probably 0,5m/2 feet), there is no wind, there are no waves.

Yesterday did a private tour for an lady curently living in Washington DC. It has been quite a while that I have done a premium tour in the like this & that's why enjoyed the mutual time even more.

We went to have lunch at the 'Churrascaria Sabor na Brasa' where we enjoyed some typical food. The staff is exceptionally friendly & welcoming. We also visited an art gallery of a local graffiti artist named who was one of the few chosen residents of the Favela Rocinha to carry the & whom they also met in person. Amazing! :) Last but not least interesting was the Favela school ( , www.projectfavela.org) where we could speak to some of the volunteers there who gave us a good idea what it feels like to make a small difference in a kid's life.
It was a fun tour with the two of you :) I enjoyed not only the conversation we had but also appreciated your interest in the community very much.
