Rocinha by Rocinha is about creating and enriching a cultural exchange between the locals of Rocinha and people from all over the world. We want to create a social travel experience, and let tourists discover the rich local atmosphere, way of life and most of all its culture. In continuation to the police pacification many companies from outside Rocinha began to make "favela-tours" bypassing the l

ocals. The opportunity to strengthen the economy within Rocinha, was lost to these companies that actively profit from the favela, without giving anything back. We aim to change the landscape of that by creating a independent organization runned by locals that seek to develop the community in a positive direction.
