Shore Leave Cottage is located on Green Turtle Cay, one of the Abaco Islands in the Bahamas.

GTC is a small, family island known for its unspoiled beach, reef, and fishing waters. The main settlement of New Plymouth provides provisions and quaint dining.

We were so busy hosting family and friends that posting pictures fell by the wayside. Patrick and I are at MHH waiting for our flight home and I'm doing some catch-up.

It takes a Settlement!

As a follow up to our recent survey in the Sea of Abaco as part of our post hurricane Dorian dolphin assessment, in three days we sighted 29 individual animals. Eight of these dolphins are individuals we have seen before and are in our catalogue, two of which were first documented here thirty years ago. Of the 21 new animals sighted, seven are dependent calves. Thank you again to the Devereux Ocean Foundation for supporting this important work.
