We're doing something special on Long Island (Yuma) this November: a fully-immersive experience that uses freediving as a tool to cultivate stress tolerance, self-confidence, and leadership.

Together with The Rebellion team, I'll be taking a small group on a journey both into Dean's Blue Hole and into themselves, in search of greater depths of resilience, mental control and inner calmness - qualities that are so important for the modern uber-paced world.

We tend to just call this "our back yard".....

One of nature's true wonders, The Glass Window Bridge will certainly leave you breathless as you drink in the magnificent panoramic view. It is one of the few places on earth where you can compare the rich blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean on one side of the road and the calm Bight of Eleuthera (often incorrectly called the Caribbean Sea) on the other side, separated by a strip of rock just 30 feet wide.

Every now and then we simply have to boast...because, well yes, the REAL Bahamas has historic plantation ruins, amazing hikes past wild papaya, mango and banana trees, incredible cave exploration, the world's deepest land accessible blue hole, the best conch salads in the world, incredible sea shell and sea glass art, straw work - of COURSE the friendliest people... but but but... let's be honest...not many read this far (at least not without running out of breath) because there is something else that we ALL fall in love with...these blues... whether you are on these blues listening to music with your favourite beverage or it is just you, a boat and the crystal clear waters.....THESE are the waters of the REAL Bahamas...

VB 2022 is a wrap!!

Here are some numbers to give you an idea of the magnitude of this event:
🌎 42 Athletes from 22 countries
🥇3 successful World Records out of 5 attempts
🥇61 successful National Records out of 79 attempts - of those 11 are Continental Records
📈 An average announced depth of 85.1 m over the 9 competition days
📈 An average realised depth of 81.4 m – the deepest competition ever in the history of the sport.
📈 Day 4 saw an average announced depth of 93.4m and an average realised depth of 92m – the deepest day in the history of the sport.
📈 An accumulated 15,891m of depth – almost twice the height of Mount Everest!
