Sarpang dzongkhag recorded 23 fresh cases today. To combat the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the district, the task force has extended its complete lockdown by 72 hours starting today.

Gelephu detects 11 more cases

Gelephu continues to detect COVID-19 cases from the community. Eight more individuals tested positive from the community today from the RBA colony in Jampeling. The health officials are still testing the samples collected on January 17 after an Army personnel tested positive from the community.

Meanwhile, three individuals in quarantine also tested positive for COVID-19 today.
