National Memorial Chorten, also known as Memorial Chorten or simply Thimphu Choeten, is a memorial stupa built by Queen Mother Ashi Phuntsho Choden Wangchuck in 1973. Gongzog Chorten was constructed in Thimphu, in memory of and to honor the third king of Bhutan, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, known as the Father of Modern Bhutan.

The Gasa Dzongkhag Administration has upgraded the accommodation facilities at the Gasa Tshachu Guest House for enhanced comfort and convenience. With this initiative, the accommodation rate was revised with effect from 1st July 2025.

Nimalung Monastery, also known as Thubten Shedrup Dargay Choling Lhakhang, is a two-story temple founded by Doring Trulku Khyentrul Jamyang Kunzang in 1938. It is located on a Nyimalung hill, meaning “Sun Valley”, beyond Prakhar Temple in Chumi, Bumthang.

Nimalung Monastery, also known as Nyimalung Dratshang, is a two-story temple founded by Doring Trulku in 1938. It is located in Chumi valley of Bumthang.

His Eminence Tshoki Lopen Rinpoche is presiding over the month-long Drubchen of Gongdue, Tsepamey, and Phurpa at Taktshang Monastery, accompanied by the Yonten Duetsok monks.

This grand annual Drubchen is performed for the continued good health and flourishing of the noble activities of His Majesty the King, and to bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to the nation and all sentient beings.

From the 30th day of the 5th lunar month to the 2nd day of the 6th lunar month (July 24 to 26, 2025), the sacred Phurpa Mandala (Phurbi Kīlkor) will be publicly displayed.
