Lungchutse is a small Buddhist temple build in 18th century above Dochula pass at an elevation of 3566msl. The hike starts from Dochula pass. The trail will take you through a diverse forest of hemlock, rhododendrons and junipers until you reach the temple on the ridge. We aslo saw some beautiful mushrooms along the way. On a clear weather day, one can enjoy a 360 degree view of the Himalayas. We took about 4 hours up and down including the stopovers.
