The National Flag of Bhutan is unique . The thunder dragon divides the flag into two coloures , half yellow and the other orange. The thunder dragon represents spiritual and temporal power of Bhutan. The yellow color symbolizes the authority of the king and the orange color is the symbolic of drukpa monasteries.

The buddha statue loacted at Kuensel Phodrang, Thimphu valley measures in at a height of 51.5 m, making it one of the largest statues of Buddha in the world. The statue is expected to be a major pilgrimage centre and a focal point for Buddhists all over the world to practice, mediate and retreat.
