From Kumaga Campsite in Makgadikgadi ‘National Park we proceeded to Maun & stopped over at the Khwai Concession/ Mbudi campsite No 3 for 2 more days, just outside the Moremi Game Reserve, The camp was right under a canopy of trees right along a channel of Mbudi river, The place is rich with lots of game, elephants notably, spotted hyenas with lion roars at night…They offer mokoro trips as well, As much as you ought to be self sufficient to camp here, ablution facilities with warm are available….

I just came back after my 10 day trip, I will share snippets of the highlight of the trip, one of the days whilst rested at our campsite enjoying an amazingly beautiful sunset at Third Bridge MT1 campsite, we had an elephant slowly wandering through our campsite, & we just decided to all steadfastly ignore the “elephant in the room”😅

This was my first time boarding a mokoro excursion, it was scary though peaceful as we glided through the papyrus waterways, brushing past reeds, seeing a variety of bird life, oh what a beautiful glimpse as we fully experienced the sounds and sights of nature until witnessing a hippo and an elephant just a few meters from our boat then everything changed..😂😂
