Richmond Frimpong, Co-Chair of the African Economic Zones Chamber, delivered an enlightening presentation at that highlights the need for African tourism businesses to be persistent when selling their products.

The Rendzo Network's Septi Bukula shared 10 essential steps for the gathered entrepreneurs to successfully develop, market and sell their tourism products. He urged businesses to seek to position themselves in the "blue ocean", a term used to describe an uncontested market space.

Africa Tourism Leadership Forum (ATLF) Day 1: Masterclass Session

Dr. Brian Mahosi – Lecturer: Department of Applied Management, University of South Africa gave an Entrepreneurship Masterclass on ‘Pathways to success: Sustainability of Tourism Based SMMEs’.

Dr. Mahosi outlined the development goals being pursued by the tourism industry noting that opportunities are limited when working along. “When people work together, we are able to access bigger markets. That is one of the things we must advocate for as the tourism industry and SMMEs,” stresses Dr. Mahosi.
