CAMP KALAHARI – MAKGADIKGADI PANS NATIONAL PARK
The charming Camp Kalahari is tucked away on Brown Hyena Island, amongst the dappled shade of acacia and mokolwane palms. Here, guests can take in the stark beauty of the Kalahari region from the comfort of their Meru-style tents. Each tent boasts a lovely ensuite bathroom. THAMO TELELE – MAUN
Thamo Telele is a safari lodge in Maun located within a 250-hectare private game reserve on the outskirts of the iconic safari town, the gateway to the Okavango Delta.
This intimate and comfortable lodge was recently refurbished and opened its tent-flaps again in March 2022. With an enviable location bordering the Thamalakane River, Thamo Telele can accommodate 22 guests and offers space for relaxation and tranquillity, making it the ideal stop-over either side of any safari.
Set amongst a lush forest of old growth leadwood and acacia trees, each luxury safari-style tent and thatched chalet is a little bush haven. Surrounded by habitats of river, riverine, woodland and dry savanna this wildlife sanctuary is full of life and brimming with plains game and birdlife.
The abundant bird life will set any twitcher twitching and anyone with a soft spot for giraffe will be in a state of pure bliss as they get up close and learn more about our resident herd from our team of naturalists. In fact, the lodge was named after our littlest resident giraffe, born during our refurb in 2021. Surprisingly tall from birth, she was soon called Thamo Telele, meaning ‘long neck’ in Setswana. As we observed her growing day-by-day, she captured our hearts in such a profound way, that we decided to rename our ‘new’ lodge after her.

HYENA PAN CAMP🐾 – OKAVANGO DELTA, KHWAI PRIVATE RESERVE
It is all about the wildlife at Hyena Pan. First up is its phenomenal location in Khwai Private Reserve. Positioned between Moremi Game Reserve, Chobe National Park and the Khwai River, the exclusive concession is a meeting point for more animals than you can shake a stick at. Think nomadic herds of elephant and buffalo, lion, leopard and wild dog fiercely defending their territories, as well as kudu, red lechwe and herds of dainty antelope dotted across the plains.
And then there’s the camp itself. From its lofty position amongst a grove of cathedral mopane trees, the eight tents at Hyena Pan look over a watery lagoon of the same name. In the morning, you’ll open your tent flaps straight on to the trumpeting elephant in the lily-filled waters below, spend your siesta watching herds splash and snort, and fall asleep to antelope grazing just outside your canvas walls. This isn’t a place for those looking for opulence and extravagance; it’s a private piece of big-game Africa, where the wildlife encounters are authentic, intimate and always wild.
Amble down to the heart of the camp, and you’ll find the dining deck and lounge areas. Keep an eye on the comings and goings at the waterhole from a slouchy sofa, or float in the mini-splash pool and watch the wildlife doing the same below. Meals are wholesome and tasty, and after you’ve finished munching, the night is best spent in the open-air boma with a nightcap (or two or three). When darkness falls, we illuminate the waterhole and all its David Attenborough-esque action, sadly without the voiceover.

MIGRATION EXPEDITIONS CAMP – NXAI PAN NATIONAL PARK 🤩
Migration Expeditions Camp is a new tented camp in Nxai Pan National Park shining a spotlight on the dazzling Zebra migration which occurs here around Dec-March every year. This is a simple and authentic seasonable camp, operating between November and March, when a little known but staggering natural phenomenon occurs here - the longest migration in Africa. It brings not only Zebra but other antelope and the opportunistic predators that instinctively follow on their trail.
Travelling approximately 1000 km every year, these vast numbers of plains zebras move from Chobe and the Linyanti/Kwando river systems towards the Nxai Pan area at relatively the same time as the arrival of the rainfall in Nxai Pan around the end of November. The longest migration in Africa, the animals are instinctively draw to these greener grassy areas where they give birth to their young in optimal environmental conditions. By early March the herds are beginning to head back towards the Northern region of the Chobe National Park. The exact timings are of course entirely dependent on the arrival of the rains.
The Meru-style tents of Migrations Expeditions Camp are uniquely designed to minimize human impact to the environment and include en-suite bathroom facilities with bucket showers. Earthy tones blend in with the natural surroundings.
Birding enthusiasts will appreciate the countless migratory bird species occurring here and day visits to Baines’ Baobabs - a cluster of magnificent established Baobab trees at the edge of Kudiakam Dam add a historical element to your journey as you learn about the fascinating story behind them. Discovered during the search for Victoria Falls, the shade of these majestic trees provides an ideal setting for a delicious packed picnic lunch.
Daily game drives invite guests to enjoy sightings of impressive elephant bulls, the iconic Kalahari lion, cheetah, springbok, jackals and spotted hyena and oryx amongst others.
