Botswana Agrotourism Organization Gains Valuable Insights at 7th Africa Tourism and Leadership Forum
Gaborone, Botswana β 3rd - 6th September 2024 β The Botswana Agrotourism Organization (BAO) proudly participated in the 7th Africa Tourism and Leadership Forum (ATLF), held at the Gaborone International Convention Centre. The forum, themed βCharting a new path forward for intra-African travel, Trade, tourism, and investment,β provided a valuable platform for the BAO to connect with key stakeholders and explore opportunities for growth.
Representing the BAO were Executive Director and Founder Koketso Tlhagale and Community Programs and Impact Director Ms. Bonolo Natasha Bosilong. The forumβs panel discussions and deliberations offered invaluable insights into the current state of African tourism and the potential for sustainable development.
As a leading organization dedicated to promoting agrotourism in Botswana, the BAO was particularly interested in exploring ways to diversify the countryβs tourism sector and create multi-sectoral linkages.
