Discover & Experience the Beauty of Tsodilo Hills , The Python 🐍 cave & more than 4000 rock paintings. Get exposure to meet one of the Tsodilo Hills native Elder Quntae who shares the vast powerful & spiritual History of Tsodilo Hills . Get to know the first people who settled in the hills according to the history ; the !Kung and the Hambukushu settled there in 1800.

With more than 4000 rock paintings , The Python 🐍 Rock statue captured people's imaginations. They are called the " mountains of the Gods" or "the Rocks That Whisper" The Python cave that's on the Northern sides of the Hills contains a rock that resembles a giant python and there's evidence that the San were worshipping the python around 70 000 years ago.
There are two paintings in the Python Cave, one Elephant and one of a Giraffe 🦒. According to the San mythology these paintings have significant meaning, the python was often metaphorically represented as an Elephant. The have a tale about the time where their python deity fell into the river and couldn't get out, and the Giraffe 🦒 with his long neck leaned in and rescue the Python 🐍. By "Michael English "

Have yourself an opportunity to explore Tsodilo hills getting to know the history of the Realm of the Ancestors of Tsodilo Hills as one of the Heritage Site list in Africa sitting around the fire at night ,enjoying untold stories of the history from the likes of Xuntai ( one of Tsodilo Hills guide).
