ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS
ARTISTS CAN BE INSPIRED BY CULTURE & TOURISM
1. A maximum of 1 works are to be accepted per artist
2. Artworks should be presentable and be ready to display
3. Artworks should be original, and never been exhibited before
4. Artworks should not exceed 1.5 metres in size
5. Artworks should be titled, with a brief rationale, with the artist’s full names and contact
details attached at the back.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
1. The competition is open to all members of Thapong Visual Arts Centre in good standing
2. Entrants must be aged 18 to 35
3. Entrants are allowed a maximum of 1 artwork
4. Artworks should not exceed 1.5 metres
5. No entries will be accepted after the set deadline
6. Thapong Visual Arts Centre reserves the right to use any entry in its publicity materials
7. All artworks must be collected from Thapong After the exhibition. Thapong shall no be held liable
for any loss or damage of artworks that have not been collected after the exhibition.

2. Applicant who are applyig for the Youth Category hold should be the age of 18 years and 35 years
3. Only applicant who have shown creativity, innovation, empowerment a proven track record for promoting tourism in Botswana will be short listed. It is vital to prove your successful role in the tourism sector.
4. Citizens and those operating Tourism Businesses in Botswana for the past 36 months
5. A business and NGOs should meet all legal requirements for the type of business they are
operating in.
6. All applicants can apply for only one category.
7. The application form should be filled in English language only.
8. No other language except English would be considered. Supporting documents and printed literature in any other language shall be accompanied by appropriate translations in the English language.
9. Applicants should have all the required attachments as per the application form;
• Company / Individual / NGOs Profile
• VAT Compliance (for companies)
• Certificate of Registration (Company and NGOs)
• Certified copy of IDs (Omang, Passport, Resident Permit etc.) for Individual applicant
• Trade License (for company)
• Reference, Supporting and Endorsement letters (at least more than 3 letters)
10. Participants can apply for the awards by submitting the duly filled Application Form along
with supporting documents (newspapers review, video documentaries, interviews, pictures and other relevant information supporting your work) by Botswana Post - Help Desk marked as: Application for Botswana Travel and Tourism Awards 2022
