It was such a remarkable adventure through the Northern Part of Botswana. A journey we started in Maun with our clients from the United States of America, Cathy and Matt. We do believe, it was a journey our clients they have dreamed since childhood, that one day they should visit Africa, we guess Botswana was on the top list! Our skies were beautiful with few clouds on the horizon, there was no time to waste, we jumped on our safari vehicle heading north easterly direction towards Khwai . There was a number of game on the way, elephants, Giraffes and many general game. With less expectations, we were on a Pack of Wild Dogs, just on the edge of the road! The most endangered animals on our first drive before camp! Tears of joy was clearly registered on their faces. Few minutes after the Wild Dogs, we encountered a lioness attempting to bring down a Waterbuck, the Waterbuck narrowly escaped the teeth and claws by swimming into the nearby lagoon to serve his precious life. Imagine, your first day loaded with these amazing sightings, this could be a dream become true! The Shaile Boys last night quietly visited our waterhole! When we woke up we noticed the three Shaile boys had a drink at our waterhole just in front of our camp. We hope they will regularly use it , especially during the dry season. Soon ,some of the natural waterhole will dry up... the only convenient surface water will be this beautiful waterhole.
