We just had an amazing wrap up of the year with our annual pre-tour leading up to Botswana Travel and Tourism Expo (BTTE).

This year we hosted 4 agents on a 4 night FAM trip to naturalselectiontravel’s Tawana and Duke’s Camp. This was followed by an epic finish at wearewilderness Vumbura Plains especially with the pack of 29 African Wild Dogs

Thank you for your phenomenal hosting. And a special thank you to Helicopter Horizons for the incredible doors-off scenic. As well as to Wilderness Air for safely transferring us between camps.

One of the first things you may feel like doing is take kick off your shoes and walk bare-foot on arrival at Camp Chitubu. That is just how homey it feels. This brand new Safaris camp in Hwange National Park is set upon a ridge overlooking a natural spring, guaranteeing water all year round. The dams situated on the game drive routes also provide for an excellent opportunity to catch game coming in for a drink in the mornings and evenings.

We watched this fascinating encouter between leaopard and lion for a while at Natural Selection Mokolwane camp in the Okavango. Back story: the leopard had a kill and the lion tried stealing it. There ensued a stand off that lasted hours. We waited long enough for the lion to finally make a move and the leopard ran jumped up the safety of a tree.
