**New Haulover Bridge Official Opening: Temporary Closure and Alternate Route Advised**

The Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing has announced that the official opening of the new Haulover Bridge is scheduled for late morning on Thursday, April 25, 2024. To facilitate the ceremony, the bridge will be closed to all vehicles for approximately 30 minutes around 11 a.m. The public is advised to use John Smith Road as an alternate entrance to Belize City.
