Happy International Friendship Day! We love hosting groups of lifelong friends here at our beachfront villa. Time away from everyday life is even more special if it's spent with friends! We have so much space for relaxation - in one of our beach hammocks under the palapa with the sea breeze, on the deck with your feet in the pool...watching the sunset from our rooftop terrace! Our home from home can be your base for as much or as little as you wish to do with your friends!

Incredible music, crafts, art, local charity and community project work and of course lobster served a hundred different ways at this year’s Lobsterfest in Placencia!

When one of our Airbnb guests contacted us ahead of his and his girlfriend's trip from New York to Belize to ask if he could propose at our home we were delighted and heartened! 😍😍It was a privilege to provide the backdrop for this pivotal life moment and we wish the happy couple the very best of health and happiness together! A very skilled local craftsman built a new beach palapa for us after a tropical wave took out our existing one! Now our guests can enjoy the beauty of the time honoured thatching technique used by Belizeans as they rest in hammocks underneath. The perfect spot to take in the glittering sea and its cool breezes. Thank you to Ambrocio for his diligent work and dedication.
