⚡⚡⚡ELECTRICITY COMING TO POITE??⚡⚡⚡

Yesterday we had a visit from LAIT UP BELIZE! They are a project who's overall objective is, "Universal access to electricity from a clean and productive energy sector in Belize." The project has been traveling throughout Toledo recently promoting "enhanced energy efficiency and access to electricity for unnerved areas in partnership with private sector providers".

The visiting group of 25+ members stopped by for a delicious lunch of chicken caldo, rice and beans, vegetables and hot corn tortilla. Afterwards, they met with local leaders to discuss their mission as well as challenges and benefits of bringing more electricity to San Benito Poite.

We want to thank LAIT UP BELIZE! for making the trip to see us and we hope to continue this great partnership for many years to come!! 👏👏

🔨🔨🔨 !!Guesthouse Update!! 🔨🔨🔨

We recently completed renovations and have finished the entire ceiling for our Guesthouse! We have also added a 2nd toilet and urinal for larger groups.
