American Airlines is also expanding to Belize this coming winter with flights from Charlotte increasing to daily. This is in addition to American's daily flights from Miami and Dallas.

When visiting San Ignacio, Belize 🇧🇿 the border to Guatemala 🇬🇹 is only a few miles away.

Bring your passport and if you are in a rental car do not forget to tell them rental car company you are going across the border. You will need an original letter from them to cross.

You will also need to have the guy assist you for a few dollars to speed up the process, especially if you go before 9am. Just pay the guy you will find out that it is a smoother transition and so much easier.

Don’t forget to stamp your passport both on the Belize side and the Guatemala 🇬🇹 side both in and out.

Flores is only a couple hours away and if your missing fast food joints, and dollar store check them out.
