Hi, I am David Goodland, the owner of Goodland's Landscaping. From a military family I lived in both Ontario and New Brunswick; but spent most my youth days growing up in Oromocto, NB. After graduating from Oromocto High School in 2001 I played junior A hockey for three years before studying at UNB and graduating with a Business Degree in the fall of 2008. I then went to Niagara College Canada in

Niagara-on-the-lake, Ontario in September 2009 and obtained my Diploma as a Landscape Technician in the spring of 2011. I am married to my beautiful wife Chelsea and have four amazing children –Doris, Betty, Audrey and Jack. My family and I currently reside in Antigonish County. My experience:

Services I offer:
Hardscaping:
Patios, driveways, walkways, seating areas, retaining walls, fireplaces, outdoor bbq’s; anything imaginable with pre-cast stone and natural stone. I also install natural stone in wet-lay applications. Decks, fences, arbours, pergolas, privacy screens and retaining walls; can all be built with wood or composite materials. Ponds and water-less ponds. Low voltage lighting systems: pathway lighting, spot lights, down lights, specialty lighting (such as lights installed in risers of steps and under caps of stone-work. Softscaping:
Spring Clean-ups: rake up planter beds, remove dead/old foliage, prune back shrubs/trees, edge garden beds, de-thatch lawns, prune out any broken branches in trees, separate perennials. Build and create planting beds, mulching
Fall clean-ups: rake up planter beds, remove dead/old foliage, prune back shrubs/trees, edge garden beds, de-thatch lawns, prune out any broken branches in trees, separate perennials and rake lawns. Tree removal and tree pruning (maintenance). Landscape Design:

Celebrating its 10th year in business🙏. There is a lot to be thankful for, especially my supportive wife and children, family and friends. Thank you to all the wonderful people I've had the privilege to work for in this beautiful area of Nova Scotia . It is truly a blessing to do what you love❤️...been slow to post pictures of work this year- it's been amazing so I'll have to update soon.

This Verti Block wall we built last week tamed a slope that was difficult to mow. Some seed, fertilizer and hay...the lawn will be ready for a cut next spring.

It was an honor to work for the Antigonish Legion Branch 59 and install new slabs to update the Cenotaph. No better way to give thanks to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

That time of year- the season has drawn to its end. Hats off to my co-worker for his outstanding efforts on this one- amazing that two people can create something like this in 3 months (would have been less if the weather was with us 😉). Just a small two-sided wall to complete in the spring but this project is a wrap-what an amazing driveway- no details left behind 🔥⭐
