We want you to get involved in the geopark!

As a UNESCO Global Geopark, we take a grassroots approach to running the geopark. This means that we need people like you to become advocates of the region and guardians of the geoheritage. Join us for a one day training session to learn about what a geopark is, how the geology of the region has shaped our culture, and about our fascinating fossils and the importance of geoconservation.

In becoming an official geopark ambassador, you will:
- join a like-minded group of individuals who are interested in geology, the environment, and our culture.
- become an essential supporter of the geopark.
- learn new things and meet new people!
