M.D. businesses, organizations, and residents can now book the meeting room at the Shaw House.

Local, registered non-profit associations/societies will have their rental fees waived upon confirmation of their registration in good standing with Service Alberta. M.D. residents may rent the Meeting Room at the Shaw House for a sit-down meeting at the following rates:
- $50 (plus GST) for up to four hours; or
- $100 (plus GST) for up to eight hours.

Join us Thursday, July 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Grand Opening of the Shaw House Visitor Information and Interpretive Centre at Vezeau Beach on Moose Lake.

There will be an opening address from Reeve Barry Kalinski and ribbon cutting 11:30 a.m., followed by a free BBQ with burgers and ice cream starting at 12 p.m.

There will be self-guided tours through the interpretive centre and a chance to check out the M.D. Trading Post located inside the Shaw House. This marketplace is buzzing with local artisan goods for sale.
