The illumitoronto tour last week was incredible! Our customers braved the chilly weather to take in the spectacular light displays this show had to offer, and they weren’t disappointed! After the epic snowstorm that just came through Muskoka, this Giving Tuesday we want to give back to our frontline workers. If you know someone who went above and beyond to help people through the storm like a hydro worker, plow truck driver, firefighter, police officer, or even someone who helped out their neighbours, we want to hear from you.

Donning some kooky chicken hats from , our group had a day full of smiles and amazing sights at the Royal Winter Fair this past weekend. Livestock, giant pumpkins, and the variety of live shows were just magical, and tour guide had the group laughing the whole way through. We already can't wait for next year's event!

Over the weekend, Connie's group in Morocco arrived at the Sahara Desert Camp. ⛺ It was a beautiful tented camp in the middle of the Sahara, and they took in some Jeep rides and an overnight stay.

The first picture is all of the women on the tour gathered in front of the door of Kings Royal Palace in Fes, the second largest city in Morocco.

We can't wait to hear all about the rest of their trip when they return on November 3rd!

From our archives- here's an original copy of a letter Fran Hammond wrote home on the "Myrtle Beach Breakaway" trip in 1996.

As the group departed Muskoka, she wrote,

"Early on a very frosty Muskoka morning two coaches started off to Myrtle Beach. Once we entered New York State it began to snow and storm but finally to Gettysburg Days Inn we did reach. In our way next morn in sunshine we went out of snow- to Spring in Richmond, VA- green grass, tree blossoms- what pleasant sights..."

The group went on to have a wonderful trip together full of sunshine and laughter.

Fran wrote towards the end of the letter,

"For you make all this great trip happen, returning year after year.... it wouldn't seem like March could pass without returning here."

We're continuing a long standing tradition of Hammond Myrtle Beach trips this March- March March 17-26th, 2025.

We have a group in Morocco right now 😃 As of yesterday, they were in Rabat, and the weather is perfect! They leave for Fes today, but our amazing tour guide Connie says that the people and hotels have been fabulous. You can tell from our group's smiles that they're enjoying it so far!
