Why use a travel agent when you can spend hours/days online searching & guessing about your next vacation?
1. Something the internet can't do is talk to you and listen to your wish list and trip priorities. I take into account your preferences and match you to the best vacation.
2. If something goes amiss when you are on your trip, I am available to help you or connect you with someone who can. You've paid money for this vacation and I am your advocate.
3. I travel A LOT. That means I have experienced and have first-hand knowledge and reviews of destinations, hotels and resorts that you may be interested in. And more importantly, I can easily reach out to my fellow travel advisors for input and ideas as well.
4. When you are online and see a deal that looks too good to be true, it probably is. Travel companies don't give things away. Is there small print you're not reading because you're so excited about the price you are seeing? DO bring any deals you see to my attention and I promise to give you my best expert opinion as to what you'd actually get for your money and in most cases I can give you better value than what you're seeing online.
5. I have spent the last 10 yrs building personal relationships with hotel managers & suppliers, giving me leverage to get you things you can't get on your own, such as connecting rooms or complimentary breakfast & spa treatments.
6. If you are travelling with a group, I can be the go-to-person to coordinate everything so that you can just enjoy your trip. Discounts, VIP extras, organizing everyone's plans is my job-not yours.
7. Did you already book a cruise yourself thinking you knew what you were doing then realize all the other details that go into planning it and now you feel overwhelmed? Contact me and if you have not made the final payment, in most cases, the booking can be transferred to me and I can help you plan the rest!
8. Think it is less expensive to book trips yourself? Suppliers build in the cost of commissions into the trips/cruises already, so you are paying them extra to do NO planning for you. I get paid by the suppliers and you don't pay extra to have me do all the planning and answer all your questions for most packages. If there is a detailed trip, for example multiple European destinations/excursions/flights etc, I do implement a small Professional planning fee which I disclose at the beginning. These trips take weeks to plan and can be overwhelming if you don't know what you are doing, so let me help.
Do make travel a priority in your life. Every moment is precious and if you keep putting off that family vacation or that couple's getaway you are missing out on new memories & adventures.
