Buhay OFW:

Matatapang daw ang mga magulang na iiwan ang kanilang mga anak, para mabigyan sila ng magandang buhay.

Mas matatapang ang mga anak na kinakayang mabuhay ng walang tatay o nanay na gumagabay.

Mas matatapang sila kasi, sa murang edad nagagawa nilang labanan ang lungkot at pangungulila na wala ka sa tabi nila.

Mas matatapang sila kasi nagagawa nilang itago ang takot, wala ka para protektahan sya.

Wala ka sa panahong tinutukso sya o sa panahong may sakit sya at ibang bata ang yung kasama.😢

Please be on the airport and have check in at least 3 hours before the scheduled departure time para hindi maiwan sa flight.

Once close na ang counter, Hindi ka na talaga tatanggapin.

Rebook ka nalang ulit.

Kuha ka ulit ng ticket.

Bayad ka ulit.

Ang mahal po ng ticket kapag on the spot ka magpa pa book ng flight.

Hindi po natin pinupulot ang pera.

Yung binayad nyo po sa unang kinuha na ticket,
wala na po yon lalo na pag mga budget airlines, nonrefundable yon at kelangan mo ulit bumili ng panibagong ticket...

Concern lang po kaming mga travel agent sa mga clients namin.

Specially sa mga passengers na nanggagaling malalayung lugar,

TIPS on how to avail the cheapest airfare

▪︎ As much as possible, avoid booking near your travel dates. For sure it will be expensive.

▪︎Plan ahead and avail tickets as early as possible. You may be lucky and get a promo fare. Promo fares are usually valid for travel period months after the promo. 😉

▪︎Be alert. When there's a promo fare, get it fast! No second thoughts, for it may be gone in a blink of an eye. 😅

▪︎TRAVEL DATES of promo fares are always months away from the BOOKING PERIOD.
(So don't be surprise if airfares of your target date is too expensive, especially if you're going to book it on the same month.)

Travel TIPS to avoid offloading

OFFLOADING ( or HINARANG ka sa airport at hindi ka pinayagan na lumipad )

is one of the worst things that can happen to a traveler.

Imagine the time and money you spent planning and preparing for your trip,

all going down the drain.

Philippine immigration officers are very strict that can cause your plan go for naught.

🌎Below are some tips for you not be offloaded by immigration officers in the Philippines.

***Things to remember to avoid being offloaded.

Some reminders for a worry-free travel experience.

✅ 1.) Passport must still have 6 months validity.

~ Immigration are strict in terms of passport validity, Yes, you are only staying for a week but less than 6 months of validity is a sure offload.

✅ 2.) Flight ticket (with return ticket).

~ You also need to prove that you're only going abroad for the purpose you declared and that you're coming back to the Philippines on the date you stated.

~ A round trip ticket is a start, but anyone can buy a ticket and not use it, so you need to show you have ties to the Philippines.

~ If you have property in the country, bring proof.

~ If you're married, bring your marriage certificate.

~ If you have a child, bring his/her birth certificate.

✅ 3.) Ready your paid hotel booking voucher and Itinerary.

Prepare an itinerary and know it by heart.

Know where you're staying, where you're going, and when you're coming back.

~ Bring the receipts of your plane tickets,accommodations, and any pre-booked attractions.

✅ 4.) Prepare company ID and Certificate of Employment.

✅ 5.) Bring proof of your financial capacity

✅ 6.) Invitation letter / Sponsor letter

~ This is only applicable if someone has invited you or sponsored your trip, this letter must be authenticated from MECO.

✅ 7.) Relax and Dress smart

~ Don't overdress or underdress; wear clothes that say you're a respectable traveler.

~ Answer the IO's questions in a respectful but confident manner.

Don't lie, but don't give out unnecessary information either.

Just get to the point and give consistent answers.

✅ 8.) Bring supporting documents such as a

~ bank certification,
~ your latest income tax return (ITR),
~ proof of property．

**If you are employed, bring a
~ certificate of employment (COE)
~ approved leave of absence (LOA).

Some IOs apparently also require a photocopy of the company ID of the person who signed your COE and LOA.)
