And we're back, baby!!
After taking a step away from business for a while, in order to work on my mental health, I'm back and ready to Rock'n'Roll.
I had some personal trauma this last year, and it put me into a dark place. I struggled. I cried. I made some mistakes. I asked for forgiveness. I was inspired by a fellow business owner who went through some things last year and posted a similar story about getting back to it so I decided to do the same.

I absolutely love it when little Miss Ivy comes to work with me!
Taught her how to install door handles today, and then she attempted some for herself. What an awesome feeling it is when you teach your kids your trade secrets.

Can't wait to see these all painted up. We were asked to take a set of antique doors from an old building in the UK, and frame them to fit the master bedroom. Original hand blown glass and hardware I've never seen before. The history theses doors screamed as we worked on them was very cool to see.

This post is very close to my heart! Noel Betts was a fellow Finishing Carpenter Brother. This week he lost his battle of addiction.
I had the pleasure of working side by side with my friend Noel. He was a brother, a friend, a father, a husband and a Great Carpenter.
I encourage anyone who is dealing with addiction and or mental health issues to reach out! You are not alone and I ask that you reach out and ask for help!
