Several months ago I posted about my 9 year old nephew who was diagnosed with Leukemia. Much has happened over this time, but it because apparent pretty quickly Nathan would require a bone marrow transplant. Amazingly Nathan's little sister Joslyn was found to be a 100% perfect match for his bone marrow. Much time, prayers, and preparation has gone into making this miracle become a reality.

Last week Joslyn spent two days donating her stem cells so they could proceed with the transplant. Tomorrow, on Valentine's day, Nathan will be admitted for his final, and most intense round of chemo to kill off every thing in his system that could carry any leukemia cells. Then on 2/22/22 Nathan will receive his sisters stem cells. When the grafting occurs, Joslyn's blood will forever be in Nathan's body as it will be her cells that create the bone marrow in his bones, connecting them in an amazing way forever.

This is the scariest time in all the treatment. Nathan will be in complete isolation after this round of chemo as even a cold could put him in mortal danger. This family is full of super heroes! Mom and dad who are the foundation of this family, and sister Joslyn who selflessly donated her stem cells, all so Nathan could fight this battle. We are asking for renewed prayers and good thoughts for this amazing family in these upcoming weeks. We know that God is in control, and with our prayers and combined faith we know that miracles will happen.

This is hard to say because just yesterday she was bouncing on our trampoline and painting pumpkins in the backyard.

My 3 year-old Joy was diagnosed with leukemia yesterday. They’re doing more tests today, and we’ll be staying with her for at least a week on the cancer floor at Comer Children’s Hospital in Hyde Park. We’ve been told this is a marathon not a sprint. She’s expected to be receiving chemotherapy periodically for at least the next two years. Our beautiful princess will lose her long, brown hair.

This weekend I was supposed to be delivering a sermon about the Kingdom of God. Now I’m asking for God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done in my daughters body. I’m contending for supernatural healing and strength as she battles this disease. I believe we live in a broken world but the mending started when Jesus came. I also believe that within the tension of now and His 2nd Coming that the Kingdom of God can breakthrough in miraculous ways.

Would you join with Nikki, Cam, Ian, and myself in praying for Joy? Pray also for our doctors and nurses helping us through this journey. We’ve been a wreck since we’ve found out as you can imagine. Joy is very fearful and is not really sure what’s happening. She doesn’t understand why she can’t go home

This cute baby could use some prayers. At a month old he has had to be life flighted to primary childrens hospital with a bad case of rsv. He had stopped breathing on his own and needs help. I believe that through faith and good medicine this child will heal.

Post update: This is not my baby but a close friends!

Asking for prayers for my great nephew Waylon after having to have an emergency C-section with complications on April 10th, he is fighting for his life only being on this earth 12 days. His kidneys are not functioning and his blood vessels on his toes are bursting. The discoloration on his toes is what alerted my niece to bring him back to the hospital after only being home two days. So I humbly ask for prayers for this little angel not only to save him but for answers as to the cause of the problem and only our Heavenly Father knows.

I am asking prayers for my son he is 4 years old and already has had 1 open heart surgery now he needs another one. Date for his second surgery is Sept 29th. If this one doesn't work, he will be placed on the heart transplant list.

They didn't regret anything, they were grateful. Then she repeated softly, 'I love you forever!' He returned her words, gave her a soft kiss on the forehead. She closed her eyes and fell asleep peacefully with her hand in his.

Love is really all that matters because everyone comes into this world with nothing other than love and leaves with nothing other than love.
Think about it. Profession, career, bank account, our goods are just tools, nothing more. Everything stays here. So just love….
