❗️BREAKING: Air Canada Announces Roll-Out Of Free WiFi In The Sky!

Air Canada says it plans to roll out fast, free, streaming-quality Wi-Fi next May, to Aeroplan members on Wi-Fi equipped aircraft for flights within North American and Sun markets. The airline also plans to expand free Wi-Fi service to long-haul international routes in 2026.

“Reliable access to streaming-quality Wi-Fi is becoming essential for both business and leisure travellers. That’s why we’re upgrading our fleet with the latest technologies,” said Mark Nasr, EVP, Marketing and Digital, and President of Aeroplan.

✈️ Air Canada Fare Update Alert! 🚨

Starting January 3, 2025, Air Canada is revising its Basic and Comfort fare structures to enhance clarity and align with other Canadian carriers:

📦 Basic Fare Updates:

1 small personal item, such as a purse or computer bag, included ✅

Larger carry-on items, such as roller bags, duffel bags, or large backpacks, must be checked for $35 (first bag) or $50 (second bag). Gate-checked items are $65.

Complimentary seat assignment at check-in remains, but seat changes after check-in will have a fee starting January 21, 2025.

🧳 Comfort Fare Perk:

Customers can check 2 bags for free worldwide (up from 1)!
💡 Key Benefits Stay the Same: Aeroplan Status, Star Alliance Gold, and premium credit cardholders still enjoy their perks.
