It was a busy and exciting Thursday morning at the museum! We were thrilled to welcome three energetic Grade 1 classes and a bus tour of 24 lovely folks from the USA. The students had a blast exploring the exhibits and playing Schoolhouse Bingo. Well done to our summer students Spencer & Emmitt for doing such a fantastic job teaching the Grade 1 classes all about Claresholm’s history!

We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who contributed to and attended our Father’s Day Classic Car Show yesterday — what an incredible day! Your support made the event a huge success.

We open in ONE WEEK! We can’t wait to welcome you all back for another season and see all of the changes we made this winter - especially in our gift shop! We’ve been busy, and there is still more exciting news to come at our Spring Festival event on May 24.

We’re thrilled to announce that a BRAND NEW Gift Shop Boutique is opening inside the Claresholm Museum — and it’s launching in just a few weeks

We’ve partnered with Cee Lee Boutique to design some of the cutest clothing and gift items you’ve ever seen along with some amazing local vendors. What used to be a small section is now transforming into a full boutique experience — filled with stylish apparel, adorable giftware, toys, books and must-have items for visitors and locals alike.

We are so pleased to present the prize for best Yuletide costume (adult & youth) to the Knox family for Old Fashioned Christmas at the museum. Receiving $100 ( 2 x $50) in prizes on behalf of the Knox Family is David (left) joined by son Cooper (right). Presenting the prizes on behalf of the museum is Executive Director Bill Kells.
