What a great week of networking and learning in Las Vegas. I was joined by one of my associates who also worked hard to take in all the education and entertainment.

The annual EDGE conference by Travel Leaders Network was held in Las Vegas this past week. It is a week of networking with colleagues, and suppliers as well as education on travel trends, what’s new and coming up, as well as sessions on running our businesses.

It was great to connect with some that I have not met before and some I have only met briefly in the past. There were also some celebrity sightings with Sir Richard Branson, Carson Chrisley, who is an advocate for travel advisors (who knew??), and Graham McTavish.

The early mornings, and long days were worth the trip. We even got spoiled by some suppliers at some amazing restaurants in the evening.

A huge Gala event was capped off with an awards ceremony. The company that supports my small business, The Travel Agent Next Door, won the Chairman’s Pinnacle Award. Congrats TTAND. 🥳 It is an honour to be a part of an organization that puts so much effort into helping us run successful businesses.
