Chris Bertin is a passionate percussionist, in service to dancers for over 25 years, holding space and weaving exotic and propulsive musical tapestries for intentional movement. A learned drummer, he has studied with teachers from around the world, with a focus on cultures that embrace drumming as a gateway to trance and transformation. Chris has spent many years touring and recording but always finds his way back to his roots in ecstatic dance culture. These last few years Chris has been exploring the fusion of electronica and live percussion and really enjoying how the live layers of drums and didgeridu can offer a bridge of deepening between the dancers and the DJ's.
