One thing I love about the is how much it feels like home. You know that incomparable feeling you get when you come home from a long day? That’s what I wanted to create with this cottage. I didn’t want it to feel like a hotel, or like you were always using other people’s stuff. That’s why I thirfted a lot of the decor and furniture to give the place more character.

And every time I visit the I don’t want to leave (which is remarkable coming from a genuine homebody)

Come feel the enveloping sense of warmth and familiarity!

Designing the has been such a fun project over the last year. It’s given me the chance to explore different styles that it’s too late to incorporate into our own home 🤣 I’d call it a blend between boho // country // scandinavian

Fun story about the kitchen at the :

The kitchen was pretty dated but we decided to paint the cabinets and just replace the hardware. It was a BIG job to sand, paint, and seal them.🥵🥵

Then on Thanksgiving weekend last year the entire main floor flooded and needed to be gutted — including the lower cabinets 😖😖

But we worked with at to put in these beautifully rich Hunter green lower cabinets and a wood grain style counter top that feels modern yet earthy. So now we’re embracing the two-toned look!
