We have had a great summer season of installing standby generators for our customers in the Fredericton and surrounding areas! Last night there was a large power outage in fredericton. We had eight generators running across the southside of fredericton! The weather is still beautiful now but winter is coming and now is the time to be thinking of back up power solutions!

This Thursday marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in our country. To honour the spirit and intent of the federal declaration, and to stand in solidarity with indigenous communities in our province and across Canada, ProStar Electrical Services will be closed.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day to recognize the trauma of the legacy of residential school in Canada, and to honour those who suffered and died, as well as the survivors, and their families.

On September 30th, We encourage everyone to wear orange to raise awareness of the very tragic legacy of residential schools and to spend the day honouring the victims, celebrating the survivors and learning about the issues that indigenous people continue to face across our country.
