One of our team members meets with you and your pets, in your home, to ensure sure our time spent together will b

e comfortable for everyone and especially the pets (at least once) before agreeing to care for them. A quick rundown on the outstanding pet services we have to offer:

1)"in-their-own-home" pet sitting; we will spend day and night with your pet/s in order to give them all the comforts of their home while you travel
2) we will stop in, feed, scoop litter, and give playful attention to your cat/s or any small animal
3) seven days a week, morning, afternoon, evening and weekend dog walking service
4) pet taxi within Fredericton city limits
5) "in-their-own-home" dog grooming. Appointments available days, evenings, and weekends
-Full Style includes brush out, pre-shave, ear cleaning (plucking), nail trim, bubble bath, blow dry, and finishing shave. Available without bath
-Bath & Tidy includes brush out, ear cleaning (plucking), nail trim, bubble bath, blow dry, and finishing scissor tidy. All grooming services are available without a bath. We supply all the necessary equipment and complete any clean up necessary; you will only need to supply the bathtub!

⚠️Please Stop⚠️

Have you been told to let a dog sniff you first before you start interacting? Have you ever ask yourself why you're doing that? Do you think a dog can actually tell by sniffing your hand that your friendly? How can YOU tell if a dog is friendly by letting them sniff YOUR skin?🤔

This habit has been implanted in our human brains as a way to gain instant trust in an animal that we don't know. Not every dog wants to know you! Touching some dogs creates stress for them. In most situations the only one feeling any satisfaction is you🙃

Reaching into the dogs body space gives a tiny moment of time for them to evaluate how they feel about you, which isn't enough time for the dog to judge whether they feel you're safe or not. This forced action leaves some dogs little options besides biting. This scenario often escalates more quickly when a dog is "on-leash". They can't verbally tell you to back off😤

If you happen upon a dog you can hardly stand not to meet (most of us 🙋‍♀️), the best thing to do is to try to briefly chat with the person the dog is with. And, take it from us, their owners are not always the ones walking them! If the person welcomes the interaction, remain standing, remain calm, don't stare at the dog and act as if the dog isn't there. If the dog wants to interact with you they'll start sniffing around you, nudge you and wag their tail - those are usually good indications that you're about to be lucky enough to make a new friend!✌️❤️🐶

"Here are some photos from Skittles grooming session with Tina today. Skittles is a 13 year old Pug who suffers from spinal myleopathy and cancer. Tina has been his groomer for a few years now and we absolutely don't know what we would do without her. Skittles can no longer walk and has to be carried. Having my own mobility issues, it is so great to have a groomer like Tina who comes to us."

In celebration of National Dog Day, we'd like to take just a moment to celebrate our namesake, Alice Beagle. Since Alice's passing almost 3 years ago, and since she's no longer featured as our most popular team member, here's a little about how awesome she was, and why she'll always live in our hearts and memories 🌈

Alice was not only an exceptional pet and pal, but she was quite a volunteer! She (and our business owner - Angela) worked as a Therapy Dog Team with St. John Ambulance, they were a Community Outreach Team with the Saint John SPCA, and volunteered their time with the Fredericton SPCA Kids Camps. Alice was a nationally recognized Canadian Kennel Club Canine Good Neighbour.

Alice was a huge part of Alice's Trail Waggin Pet Services. She went on thousands of Dog Walks, and helped Pet Sit hundreds of dogs and cats. She made friends with Guinea Pigs, Skinny Pigs, bunnies and farm animals. To know her was to adore her.

Our Kitty Care (any small animal) service fee is $20 +tax per visit. Each visit is 20 minutes in duration. The rate remains the same no matter the number of cats.
