Last summer we had a large family stay with us. 3 generations of family vacationing together. They were top shelf guests. They have a wonderful trip to Newfoundland and left here with a bunch of memories. Anyone who knows me will likely know that Gooseberry Cove is one of my favorite places on earth. Ofcourse our guests visited and picked up some sand to bring back to Ontario. Yesterday I received a beautful package of ring holders and fridge magnets with a few necklaces. Our guest used the sand from Gooseberry and forged glass to make these beautiful keepsakes. It was a very touching moment as a host, to receive such a beautiful gift. So sweet of them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Margie's place is the perfect winter getaway. Sleeps 16 with 5.5 bathrooms. We have plenty of space at the dining table for 12 and 2 others at the bar. The chef's kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a cooked meal. Open concept from the living room with the 82-inch TV to the handmade card table. We are just over an hour away from St John's and 3 from Gander. Pricing can be adjusted for smaller groups depending on how many bedrooms are needed.

We are staying open all year long. Sleeps 16. 5.5 bathrooms Discounted pricing if you need less bedrooms. The house has a chefs kitchen with a propane stove and built in wall oven. The dining table seats 12 comfortably. Newly renovated bedroom has a soaker tub and rain shower and let's not forget about the card/poker table that's seats 6 and the 82 inch TV. Bbq and firepit.

One of the primary bedrooms was completed this week, just in time for our next guests. This room is large and bright and the ensuite bathroom is stunning. Margie’s Place By the Pond

Very large guest home offers plenty of room for multiple families. Included are 8 bedrooms 5.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom has and ensuite bathroom as well as a private sitting room for times when you just want a little alone time. Two other rooms have ensuite bathrooms for privacy. A Jack and Jill ensuite is shared between two bedrooms and a large shared basement bathroom.

Nestled on 3.5 acres overlooking Larkin Pond and backing into the forest, we offer a location that boast some of the most beautiful scenery in Newfoundland and Labrador. For the historians in your group, we are rich in history and walking distance to Castle Hill National Historic site. Minutes to the Ocean, beaches, multiple ponds, hiking trails, salmon fishing and swimming but with all the convenience of restaurants, shops, hair salons and grocery stores. Bring your ATV, bikes, kayaks and enjoy what Placentia has to offer.

Large kitchen with eat in, dining room, sitting/reading room, back deck with BBQ will allow all our guests the comforts they deserve and desire.

Fully furnished with multiple fridges, 2 toasters, 2 microwaves, electric frying pan, and plenty of pots and pans for those large family meals.
