Outdoor education is a big deal in with several outdoor centres and summer camps. The Leslie M. Frost Natural Resources Centre was one of those facilities and program that affected thousands of students and adult learners.

“This was my favourite class trip in 1988 (Gr. 6). I was inspired to choose a career in the environmental field because of my experience at The Frost Centre. I didn’t want to leave” - Virginia de Carle

The Frost Centre was also a training centre for the Ministry of Natural Resources and other government staff.

In 2024 , the Frost Centre will be 50 years old. We have created a survey to determine interest in a Frost Centre Reunion. If you worked at the Frost Centre or have a deep connection please consider taking a few minutes to do the survey. If interested please send your email address to [email protected]
