September 14th is going to be such a busy day in Hastings!

I’m so excited to be partnering with The General on Millpond on an idea that I’ve had brewing for a while now.

When the Gen ladies approached me to collaborate on a pet-themed event, I said yes immediately! Their new community space, The Gen Bridge Outdoor Marketplace, is the perfect spot and they are generous supporters of the community as well as animal lovers themselves - it’s a perfect match 💛

We are planning such a fun day! Some of the Key Goals of The Pet Expo are to:

•promote local resources focused on pet health & wellness

•Raise awareness and funds for animal rescues and ways people can help (adopt, foster, volunteer, donate)

•Encourage engagement and foster a sense of community among pet owners/animal lovers seeking to connect with like minded people & organizations in Trent Hills and Northumberland County

In addition we’re planning for:

Doug Oliver (of Crooks Rapids Country Fest) found the hidden pot of gold a few weeks ago and THIS week the treasure was hiding in HASTINGS!

I found it along the Lang Hastings Trail and had so much fun looking for it! Visit the Healing House Medicinal FB Page for a glimpse into the location of their next hidden treasure and join in on the hunt!

It won't be in Hastings, this time, but when you're out and about throughout Northumberland County ...
