Why Canned Ham?

A lot of people are interested in the name of the food trailer and why I decided to name it “Canned Ham”

Well, it all starts in the WWII days where the original canned hams were created to feed the soldiers fighting the war. Today we know them as SPAM, PREM, etc.... Later in the 60’s & 70’s when travel trailers where mass produced and made out of TIN, they adopted the nick name “tin can” trailers, or ...“CANNED HAM” trailers. So I figured that Canned Ham would be a fitting name for this small 1975 coffee/food wagon made out of tin. Plus it had a good ring to it and makes you ask what is on the menu!

Now for the real question, should we perhaps offer a fried Spam sandwich on the menu?
