Right across the street from Lakehouse is beautiful Green Lake!

Walk over and picnic at the day use site (Green Lake Access 17) which is kept pristine by our neighbours and friends. Level and flat, perfect for swimming and launching the kayaks for a paddle across to the small island and exploring the Green Lake Islands Provincial Park. You’ll see lots of wildlife, from eagles and loons to deer. Mostly, you’ll enjoy the serenity of an ever-changing lake and forest views.

We suggest bringing a beach umbrella or pop up to shelter from the hot sun, beach towels & chairs, flip flops or water shoes (the beach has sand and rocks), binoculars, and a picnic lunch.

This is a special local secret, and we invite you to join us! Please note, there are no park facilities, so remember to follow and pack in your treats and pack out your trash, and keep dogs under control, like any Park area.
