Hi everyone! I just wanted to share a few photos from our recent cruise on the Caribbean Princess, visiting San Juan and St. Thomas, and also wanted to give a life update. I have decided to give up the travel business. It has been a wonderful 14 years and I appreciate my loyal friends, family and clients that have trusted me with their vacation plans over the years. I’ve had a lot on my plate over the last year, and I think it’s time to move on, and just enjoy my time off rather than continuing to work so many extra hours. I’m always happy to talk travel, and give advice and recommendations, but I’ll no longer be a travel agent. I just returned from an amazing girl’s weekend trip to Halifax and Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia. It happened to be Fleet Week during our visit so there were thousands of navy sailors in port and navy ships we were able to tour. We had the best dinner ever at The Bicycle Thief, on the waterfront. I would recommend the lobster thermidor! It was beautiful weather for walking along the waterfront, taking in all the sites Halifax has to offer, plus all the treats, like Cows ice cream, and Beavertails! We had a wonderful time in Peggy’s Cove too and made sure we stopped for lobster rolls from Tom’s Lobster Shack. 🦞

Thought I’d share some photos from our latest cruise aboard Margaritaville at Sea’s Paradise. This cruise was quite different from most we’ve done. It was only two nights, sailed out of Palm Beach, Florida, and was on an old ship (originally a Costa Ship). It was great for a quick getaway though, and we added it on to a road trip to Florida. We had a wonderful beach day in the Bahamas and enjoyed the Taino Beach Resort in Freeport. ⚓️☀️🌴

I’m happy to hear the Queen Mary is reopening this week! If you get the chance to stay here, I highly recommend it. There’s so much history onboard, and you might even have a ghostly encounter!

The Big Fiddle in Sydney, Nova Scotia. This was a ‘bonus’ port as two of our scheduled ports were cancelled due to weather. It wasn’t the nicest day weather wise, but we made the best of it and enjoyed our day walking around Sydney. The people here are so warm, friendly and welcoming! We also enjoyed our pub lunch at The Old Triangle.
