2Hands Clay comes to you and allows everyone to explore and discover the world of CLAY while creating and using their own “2Hands” and it is just plain FUN

Based out of London, Ontario, 2Hands Clay is a “HANDS ON” ADVENTURE which COMES TO YOU…it is tactile and visual which provides a unique learning experience at the grassroots level in the community. The adventure needs only tables and chairs since any location can be turned into a clay studio.

2Hands Clay allows participants to explore and discover the world of CLAY while creating and using their

own “2Hands” Everyone comes alive and the final outcome is always unique in shape, texture, configuration and color. CLAY allows one to PLAY and it has an alluring expressive nature. Participants plan and design, envision, collaborate plus customize their clay “work of art” using their own 2Hands. We have had successful 2Hands Clay Adventures in the areas of:

Wipe on and wipe off underglaze technique

Ancient Civilization Day.. Kids created egyptian symbols on pinch pots. Then clay was FIRED and kids wiped on and off underglaze see result coming.

It had to be a two day event otherwise the patterns and designs wouldn't be as so evident !! GRADE 4s loved it!!!

Bonjour Christine.

The projects were beautiful and the moms loved them. They loved the cards, they loved everything. The kids were buzzing and couldn't wait until Sunday to show their moms. Most of them were opened the sat they were sent home.

EGYPYIAN CARVING.........

New idea for for tomorrow. Kids have carved in the past simple Egyptian symbols.With the help of a 3D printer got some interesting symbols.

Will then.... fire ONCE and go back and kids brush on underglaze and wipe off with a sponge.

Shall see how it goes.....feedback to come making a simple pinch pot for a succulent plant.

A lovely teacher just sent me what she did for Mother's Day!! She ordered these boxes off Amazon and they perfectly fit (yah) and then the little Handmade with Love note .. Moms' will LOVE the handiwork!!

These were simple cross bowls with a group of Catholic students. I got a 3d cross printed and I think it worked amazingly well the kids will be impressed.

Grade 1 .. Christmas Ornaments today. They all did a amazing job we had so much fun !! This is a cute little story... Two little boys were cleaning up a table that was splashed with water EVERYWHERE and talking back and forth. One little boy said clay is my favorite sport and the other little boy says ..... Clay really isn't a sport. The 3 of us chuckle as the teacher walked in ..... Another little story I asked a little girl if she liked her clay today and she said no I LOVED it. Little Grade One girl.
