6 — Liam Conner from Loon Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Age 15.
Liam has been racing sled dogs since he was three years old. Like his Dad, he grew up racing the Ma Mow We Tak sprint circuit in Northern Canada. Two years ago, Liam ran the Klondike Dog Derby, finishing a respectable eighth out of 40 teams. His favorite sport is baseball, but he’s active in cross country running, track, basketball, and volleyball. Liam is excited to represent his family kennel and race against top competitors. "I can’t wait for the adventure to start!" says an enthusiastic first time Stage Stop musher.

The BEST race of the SEASON!

We are racing in the NORTH!! Home of the Rock Cree!! Liam and Rory finished 2nd and 3rd in the Roy Bird Memorial Junior Race.

It was a hard faught battle with teams passing, repassing, and jockeying for position. 🏁🏁🏁
Absolutely loved how they handled themselves and their teams!!!

Working in Lac La Ronge for a few days! Old man winter is on his way out. So, any day on a sled is a good day!!

Fall training is going great!! Got a skiff of snow and some cold weather.

Liam training for cross-country! Took a crew with him to keep him motivated.

🎶🎵🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🎼🎶 Cranberry Portage Engaged Learners Program had some sweet trails and awesome students! We got to work with young people from the north ❤️ Lynn Lake, South Indian Lake, and Brochet to name a few. I told them some stories of their proud dog mushing heritage. The students and staff were so happy- it was infectious!!! Incredible couple of days.
