A recent move made by United Airlines caused passengers to see red - tomato red to be exact. In the wake of United's announcement that it would be eliminating tomato juice on domestic flights of less than four hours, a full-out, straight-up social media meltdown ensued, with critics slamming the airline for its decision and vowing to jump ship for its competitors. The backlash on social media was so swift and severe that United was forced to reassess its policy and bring back the beloved tomato juice. According to studies, tomato juice actually does taste better at 35,000 feet than on the ground. The higher you ascend in the sky, the more your senses change and people say tomato juice tastes sweeter, even fruitier, while inflight.
