Now taking bookings! The Birch Lake Bunkie is your step above glamping and is a rustic retreat to connect with nature. Accommodations include a queen-sized bed, mini-fridge, microwave, BBQ access, twin hot plate, single cup coffee maker and kettle. We do have an extra twin bed, if needed to comfortably sleep 3.
We provide linens, towels, plates, cups, coffee mugs, fresh water (bunkie does not have running water and is service by an outhouse, luggable loo provided for night time), tea bags, ground coffee, sugar, cream and milk.
Sorry, but no pets or smoking will be allowed on the property due to owner's allergies.
Bring your sense of adventure, a swimsuit and canoe to take advantage of the deeded water access to beautiful Birch Lake. Nearby hiking trails, or Chutes Provincial Park is less than 15 minutes away (may require reservation). Just 45 minutes to Manitoulin Island. Boat launch is less than 5 minutes, or there is great fishing off the dock. Guided fishing is available at rates set by guide. There are many other lakes in the area if fishing is your thing!
Free wifi, but cell service is limited unless you have wifi calling on your phone.
Come experience peace and tranquility and the buzz of hummingbirds.
